Puri Nirwana is set in beautifully landscaped garden and enjoys an absolute location beachfront on the dramatic black sand surf beach of Cucukan, a traditional Balinese village 20km from Sanur on Bali’s south-eastern coast. The perfect setting for a stunning Bali wedding.
Our beautiful Bali Bride Shreya originally from Nepal requested for her Mehndi ceremony makeup – bold eyes with heavily lined and extended eyeliner, defined eyebrows, and dramatic false eye lashes. The lips are enhanced with a nude rose colored lipstick.
The whole makeup was fixed with an airbrush layer and it lasted perfectly through the night.
For the hairstyle she chose, textured mermaid waves. Shreya had already very thick and long hair but to make the style even more outstanding we also used a set of hair extensions.
The earrings are also hair accessories and were pinned to the back of the hair.
The overall look is characterized by a glowing complexion and heavy gold jewelry.
Why we love Indian/ Nepalese Weddings:
The colors
An Indian wedding typically features bright, celebratory colors. Vibrant colors and tons of jewelry are the trademarks of a traditional Indian wedding.
The Indian weddings timeline
A traditional Indian wedding is quite the party; it lasts three days! the first night is for the bride, groom and their families only, when the priest performs the ganesh pooja. The second day is the mehndi ceremony, which is when brides and their female family members have those intricate henna drawings you might have seen before done on their hands and feet. The second night is when the wedding guests attend; it’s the Sangeet, and it involves a meal and dancing. Day three is is when the main ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception occur.
